The Woodside program is conveniently located at the Woodside Apartment Complex at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) in Durham. Woodside attracts families in town and a diverse group of families from around the world coming to live and study at UNH.

The preschool program is designed for children ages 2 to 4 years.
 

We use a developmentally appropriate approach to teaching and learning: activities are planned to reflect children's abilities and interests, and to encourage exploration and discovery. Emphasis is placed on process learning.

The pre-kindergarten program is designed to meet the needs of children ages 4-6. Social and group skills are developed as children work in small groups. Pre-reading, language arts, math, science, art, music, and cultural diversity are explored.

The classroom environment stimulates physical, social, emotional, and intellectual learning. Through careful planning and implementation of age appropriate activities, teachers create and environment where each child can experience success.
