AFTER SCHOOL AND SCHOOL AGE CAMPS

"Our Time"
at Moharimet Elementary,
(603) 742-3088

"Our Time"
at Oyster River Middle School,
(603) 969-1945

Our after school programs provide flexible, quality care and recreation that is designed to meet the unique needs of school aged children. Our special commitment is to encourage each child's individual development.

Children are given autonomy in choosing their activities. Areas are provided for: active games, quiet games, reading, arts and crafts, homework, and sports.

Both programs operate Monday-Friday after school. On early release days the programs begin earlier to accommodate children as soon as school gets out. On teacher workshop days and vacation days, a full day program is offered with special activities and field trips. Children do not need to be students at either school to attend.

Our School Age Summer Camps - These programs operate from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday with extended care available from 4:30 - 6:00 pm daily.  Our camps go swimming at the Durham Outdoor Pool, go on full day fieldtrips and have a fun theme each week!

Camp Cowabunga is for children ages 5-7 years and operates at the Moharimet Elementary School.  Children attending Camp Cowabunga have the classic day camp experience including a weekly special event, arts and crafts that encourage creativity, and Friday fieldtrips.

Bridge Camp is for children ages 7-9 years and operates at the Oyster River Middle School.  At this program children are introduced to community service.  Teamwork is promoted an emphasized through activities with other campers.  Each week has a different theme and includes traditional and non-traditional games, arts and crafts and a community service project.

Adventure Camp is for children in grades 5-9 and operates at the Oyster River Middle School.  Kids discover more through adventure and community service at this small camp.  Outdoor experiences and healthy risk taking is encouraged.  Campers will participate in various community service projects throughout the summer.  Projects and adventures are designed to challenge, open minds and provide new and unique experiences for campers.  There is a weekly adventure theme including extreme sports, indoor rock climbing, camping and hiking.  Each week includes important lessons related to the week's adventure.  There are two field trips each week and some weeks include an overnight camping trip.
